Course:
Algebra 1 Three key aspects of Algebra 1, equations, graphs and applications, will help you understand how mathematics relates to the world. Exploring the applications presented throughout this course will help you make connections between mathematics and the world around you. |

Course:
Geometry Students discover and explore geometric relationships using a wide variety of tools, from compasses to graphing calculators. Real-world examples and applications are key to critical problem solving skills in topics such as: constructions, measurements, and finding patterns. |
| Course: Integrated Algebra/Geometry
1
Grade: 9 - 12 Quarters: 2 Students need to know mathematics in the context
of their school, work, effective citizenship, culture and daily lives.
This course is designed to fully apply mathematical concepts to real world
problems, giving students the opportunity to use abstract concepts in a
more practical setting. Integrated 1, 2, and 3 cover the full range
of topics traditionally covered in Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry.
Coursework is similar to that covered in Integrated
Algebra/Geometry 1, but will move at a faster pace. College-bound
students should consider taking this route so as to be able to take Integrated
Algebra/Geometry 4 and Pre-calculus during their senior year.
This course is a continuation of Integrated
1. More advanced topics in algebra and geometry will be covered. Also,
topics in statistics and probability and advanced mathematical concepts
will be explored. Graphing calculators will be used extensively.
Coursework is similar to that covered in Integrated
Algebra/Geometry 2, but will move at a faster pace. College-bound
students should consider taking this route so as to be able to take Integrated
Algebra/Geometry 4 and Pre-calculus during their senior year.
This course is a continuation of Integrated
2. Topics in higher level algebra and geometry will be covered.
This course will explore more advanced mathematical topics in relation
to real-world applications. __________________________________________________________________________________________

This course covers advanced algebra and functions,
geometry and trigonometry topics, as well as statistics and discrete mathematics.
This is a course to prepare the student for
college mathematics courses. This course covers advanced functions
such as logarithms, analytic geometry, and trigonometry.
Renaissance Math is a computer generated math program practicing the basics of math using pencil and paper (not calculators). |
