This Physical Education/Health class will enable students to experience a variety of activities which will help maintain fitness and allow the individuals to function effectively in today’s society.  The Total Wellness program will focus on mental, physical and social well being, personal fitness program, mental health and disorders, chemical use and abuse, human sexuality, human anatomy and stress management.  Physical education and health will alternate days.

Improve yourself!  In this class you will be introduced to programs that will help you with your strength, agility and over-all conditioning.  This class will give you a foundation for your strength program for years to come.

Course:  Fitness/Wellness 
Grade:  10 - 12 
Quarters:  1
Prerequisite:  Physical Ed & Health/Total Wellness

This course will involve the study of muscle development and will help individuals determine, plan and develop a personal workout program.  Weight training and aerobic equipment will be utilized.  Wellness Center management will also be a topic included in this course.

Course:  Nutrition, Exercise and You
Grade:  10 - 12 
Quarters:  1 

Get fit, eat fit, and be fit!  This course will give you the basic nutritional knowledge and exercise ideas to be a healthier, fitter you.  Whether you are an intense athlete, exercise maniac, or just want to learn how to eat right and exercise, this course is for you!
